All in a days work

Now that we have entered the world of walking we have also entered the world of bumps and bruises. This is the result of trying to walk down the street a little faster than his feet could carry him.

He is discovering all sorts of new things to play with. The other day he found a classic, an empty box.

This morning I found him up stairs most unhappy because he had dropped a toy into the box and in the process of leaning in to get it had gotten himself stuck. His top half was in the box and bottom half out but he didn't quite have enough strength to lift his top half back out.

I wish I had gotten a picture of that one. It was quite amusing.

Here is our little remote control bandit. The remote seems to move further and further from the living room each day.

And this is how he looks at the end of a hard day of playing.

New obsessions

We live in an area where we have lots of planes flying overhead. The other day we were outside playing and I pointed out the planes to Evan. He immediately pointed up at the plane and repeated "ahpane". Now whenever we go outside, are driving in the car, or even in the house and he hears an airplane he points and says airplane.

Another word he really likes is bubble. We go outside often to blow bubbles and after trying to keep Evan from constantly eating the bubble mixture when he put the wand in his mouth I decided it would be easier to give him his own empty bubble container and wand. Now he wanders around with it pulling the wand in and out of the container, pretending to blow and saying "bubble".
