Recent Pictures

All smiles which is how she is most of the time. I love it! Dad brought home souvenirs from his BYU trip. To give some perspective, this is Kaitlyn with my friends little girl who's 1 week old. Man they get big fast! She loves to sit up and see the world around her so I started sitting her in the high chair while I am cooking. It's still a little big but she enjoys it for a bit. Evan loved the hair do dad gave him, he calls it the shark do.

You may notice little legs in this picture. Evan decided to share his stuffed animals with Kaitlyn. Wasn't that nice of him. He sure does love his sister.

Steve did a mud race this weekend. 10k and various obstacles through mud. It was so fun to do and watch.

We figured out how to use the wagon for two.

My little rock climber.
And dare devil

My friend taught me how to make these little shoes. I thought they were so cute. Too bad she out grew them in two weeks. I'll have to make another bigger pair.

Trip home & Kathryn's wedding

We had a great trip. I really need to get better at taking pictures. We were there 5 days before I even got out my camera. I'll work on that.

The trip included lots of fun with family, visiting with old friends, eating at Friendly's, my sister going through the temple for the first time, her bridal shower, and finally taking Steve to a few places in Western Mass that were a big part of my childhood and that he always hears about but had never been to.

This picture below is at the Pot Holes. They are holes in the rocks formed by a glacier that are now filled with water. We used to swim in them but they are now closed to swimming. So sadly Steve didn't get the full effect.

Instead we saw the bridge of flowers. The newly weds I can't wait to see pictures from the photographer. These were the limited ones I got. Evan was a big fan of his new uncle and loved being in the pictures. You should have seen him on the dance floor at the reception. Hopefully somebody got good pictures of that.

Happy Father's Day & recent happenings

For father's day we gave Steve a frame with a picture of Evan and Kaitlyn for his office. It had a little tag in the frame which read "We love you dad". When Steve opened it Evan read the tag to him saying that is said, "this is the best gift ever". It was really cute. Steve responded by telling Evan it was only too true his kids are the best gift ever. I love watching Steve with our kids. He is such a great dad.

Evan is so good with Kaitlyn. He is constantly giving her kisses, it's so cute. At first he called her "baby Klaitlyn" but he has now mastered the pronunciation.

Here is Steve having fun with the kids.

When my mom was here she took Evan blueberry picking. Amazingly they endured the miserable TX summer heat and came home with a ton! Yea blueberries

Kaitlyn Jane

Kaitlyn Jane Moser was born at 7:59a on Tuesday, May 25 after only 75 min at the hospital. She was 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great, recovering well. Kaitlyn is eating and sleeping and squeeking like a pro.

Evan met his little sister later in the day. He was so excited to get a camera and Lightning race car that Kaitlyn gave him. He was very gentle with her and even gave her a kiss without being prompted.

Sorry that all the pictures are just of her face. We will post more pictures later.

Birthday Weekend

This weekend Steve turned the big 30. You know he is feeling old when he is actually considering paying for a gym membership. He had a softball game Friday (his actual birthday) so I made cupcakes and we celebrated at the field with friends after the game. (Sadly I didn't get any pictures of this)
He must really love me to spend his birthday weekend this way. I sure am lucky!
Thanks hun, it looks fabulous.

Then the rest of the weekend was not so much of a celebration for him. He spent Saturday landscaping our yard spreading rock and mulch for 8 hours, some of which he was getting help from two 2 year olds while my fabulous sister-in-law threw me a baby shower. Not to mention it was one of the most humid days we've had here so far this year. As if he didn't feel old before he sure does now after all that shoveling of rock and mulch. (This I did get pictures of)

Easter

We started a fun new tradition this year called an Easter walk. Clues are given out of the scriptures about the Easter story and the kids have to find items while on a walk that represent something from that scripture. It was a fun way to remember our Savior.
