This year we spent Thanksgiving in MA. My first Thanksgiving home since I left for college 10 years ago. It was great and I was very thankful to be there. 
It was very fitting that I was able to attend my 10yr high school reunion while we were back. It was great seeing old friends.
Evan had a great time playing at Grandma & Grandpa's house and running outside. He and all the boys spent one day at my uncle's barn having a bonfire and climbing the in the "caves" otherwise known as piles of rocks. Another thing Evan really enjoyed, but we don't have pictures of it, was going to "Grinch Park" or Bright Nights. They have light displays all over the park and you drive through listening to Christmas music. One section was Who-ville and Evan loved it. 
I got to show Steve, Evan & Kaitlyn the real way to pick a Christmas tree out, on a tree farm. Thanks mom for getting a tree even though you won't be there on Christmas. Nate, It's a good thing you won't be home to see it; you'd be sadly disappointed. The tree was a far cry from our normal 15 footer. We'll do that next year. : )

This year he knew exactly what to do with the cake and wasn't shy about it. 
Last year he was too interested in his cousins toys to eat cake.

Kaitlyn won 1st prize at our community's costume contest. She was pretty cute little ladybug if I do say so myself.

Lately Evan runs around the house with his cowboy hat on and his super hero cape. He is so funny. Kaitlyn loves watching him. 
Dad brought home 
To give some perspective, this is Kaitlyn with my friends little girl who's 1 week old. Man they get big fast! 
She loves to sit up and see the world around her so I started sitting her in the high chair while I am cooking. It's still a little big but she enjoys it for a bit. 
Evan loved the hair do dad gave him, he calls it the shark do.
My friend taught me how to make these little shoes. I thought they were so cute. Too bad she out grew them in two weeks. I'll have to make another bigger pair. 
The newly weds I can't wait to see pictures from the photographer. These were the limited ones I got.
Evan was a big fan of his new uncle and loved being in the pictures. You should have seen him on the dance floor at the reception. Hopefully somebody got good pictures of that.
We blessed Kaitlyn this weekend. She is such a great little baby. I am so lucky to have two great kids.
